Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin had a meeting with the Minister for Foreign and European Affairs of Slovakia Miroslav Lajchak within the framework of the Munich Security Conference.
The two sides pointed out the positive development of the bilateral dialogue in all areas of the mutual interest and focused on the issues of the European integration of Ukraine, in particular, the visa free regime with the EU and the completion of the ratification of the Association Agreement.
Mr. Pavlo Klimkin informed in details his Slovak counterpart about the worsening situation in Donbass, including around Avdiyivka as well as about continued support of Kremlin militants in eastern Ukraine. In this context they stressed the necessity of maintaining sanctions against Russia.
Ministers also expressed their interest to hold a meeting in the Ukraine+V4 format in the nearest future.
