On February, 17 Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin held a meeting with Minister for Foreign Affairs of Italy Angelino Alfano in the framework of 53rd Munich Security Conference.
The Foreign Minister of Ukraine outlined the importance of the first meeting with Italy’s Foreign Minister with regard to the Italian G7 Presidency.
In this regard Mr. A.Alfano assured of Italy’s support for finding ways of settlement of the situation in Ukraine in the context of the implementation of the Minsk agreements.
Minister Pavlo Klimkin also emphasized the importance of the cooperation with Italy, the country what will hold chairmanship in the OSCE in 2018.
Ministers agreed to hold the next meeting of the Ukrainian-Italian intergovernmental commission on economic and financial cooperation, aimed to develop bilateral cooperation.
