Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin held a meeting with Minister for Foreign Affairs of Romania Teodor Meleşcanu in the framework of the Munich Security Conference.

Pavlo Klimkin congratulated his Romanian counterpart on his appointment and expressed gratitude for the consistent support for Ukraine by official Bucharest in confronting Russian aggression.

Foreign Ministries discussed key issues in Ukraine-Romania relations, in particular, a meeting of the Ukrainian-Romanian Joint Presidential Commission in 2017.

Teodor Meleşcanu assured that Romania will support Ukraine and its efforts in any of international format to help to restore Ukraine's territorial integrity.
