On Осtober 5, 2011, H.E. Mr. Kostyantyn Gryshchenko, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, met H.E. Mr. Nguyen Tan Dung, Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, within the framework of his official visit to Ukraine.

The parties highly appreciated the dynamics of political dialogue between Ukraine and Vietnam during the last year, in particular the positive results of the state visit of H.E. Mr. V. Yanukovych, the President of Ukraine, to Vietnam in March, 2011.

During the meeting a wide range of current issues of the Ukrainian-Vietnamese cooperation, as well as the interaction of two countries on the international arena was discussed. The parties emphasized the considerable potential for further intensification of bilateral cooperation in trade, economic, investment, cultural, humanitarian and other fields.
