October 3, 2011 during a visit to the October session of the Parliamentary Assembly, Chairman of the Committee of Ministers, Foreign Minister Kostyantyn Gryshchenko met with Secretary General CE T. Jagland

Kostyantyn Gryshchenko informed the Secretary General on the progress of our country's presidency in CM CE, noting that the Ukrainian side expects the positive results of the measures planned for October-November this year. T.Jagland in turn praised the preliminary results of Ukraine's presidency in the CE and CM, in particular, stressed the contribution of our country into the progress of reforming of the Council of Europe.

During the meeting were also discussed issues of cooperation between the Council of Europe and new democracies, which arise in the Arab world, as well as some aspects of the Neighbourhood Policy wiht the key countries of Central Asia.
