Special Representative of Ukraine for Middle East and Africa Mr. Yevgen Mykytenko received the Ambassador of Lebanon to Ukraine Mr. Yousef Sadaka on his request.

During the meeting the Sides discussed current issues of bilateral cooperation and the scheduled visits of Lebanese high officials to Ukraine.

The Sides welcomed the stable tendency of the trade growth between the states. The export of the Ukrainian products to Lebanon totaled 800 million US dollars for the last 5 month. Considerable part of it is re-exported to other countries of the region.

The Lebanese diplomat gave a high estimate to the quality of preparation and conducting in Ukraine the Euro-2012 Football Championship, which was attended by the representatives of Lebanese political and business elite.
