22 September 2011 Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Mr. Victor Mayko met with the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Hungary Mr. Zsolt Németh.

During the meeting the sides exchanged views on a wide range of issues of Ukrainian-Hungarian cooperation, including further intensification of political dialogue, interaction between the Foreign Ministries of Ukraine and Hungary as well as cooperation of the two countries in the spheres of economy, energy and transport. The sides also discussed the preparation of the next meetings of the joint Ukrainian-Hungarian Commissions, in particular the Commission on Economic Cooperation, on Cross-Border and Border Cooperation as well as on Ensuring National Minorities’ Rights.

Particular attention was paid to consular and visa issues, development of bilateral legal base, national minorities’ issues and cooperation of the two countries within international organizations.
