June 8, 2012, the Embassy of the Republic of Poland and the Embassy of Ukraine organized an event dedicated to the official opening of Euro 2012.

The event was opened by Ambassador of the Republic PolandH.E. Mr. Jan Borkowski and Ambassador of Ukraine H.E. Mr. Olexander Horin. During the event the guests watched the broadcast of Euro-2012 Opening Ceremony and the first game of the championship – Poland vs. Greece.

Later on the symbolic Euro-2012 prizes were given away by means of draw. The guests also enjoyed a tasting of Ukrainian and Polish beers during the evening.

The representatives of the Dutch government, parliament, business and sport community, journalists as well as the diplomatic corps attended the event.
