On August 2, 2011 H.E. Mr. Victor Mayko, the Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, received copies of Credentials from H.E. Mr. Rajiv Kumar Chander, the newly-appointed Ambassador of the Republic of India to Ukraine.
During the meeting the Sides exchanged the views on the necessity to activate Ukrainian-Indian high level political dialogue. They discussed several events in the context of preparation of the future visits of H.E. Mr. Victor Yanukovych, the President of Ukraine, and H.E. Mr. Kostyantyn Gryshchenko, the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, to India.
Besides that, the Sides emphasized on further development of trade-economic cooperation and necessary measures for expanding the bilateral legal base as well as the exchanges of visits between two countries at various levels.
H.E. Mr. Victor Mayko expressed the hope that H.E. Mr. Rajiv Kumar Chander activity will contribute to further expansion of relations between Ukraine and India and wished him every success in his work.
