On the 19th of July, the meeting was held between Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Head of Staff of the MFA of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin and NATO's Supreme Allied Commander Europe, Commander U.S. European Command Admiral James G. Stavridis within the framework of an official visit of a military delegation of NATO to Ukraine.

The parties positively assessed the level and prospects of cooperation between Ukraine and NATO and noted the dynamics of a bilateral dialogue on current issues of international security.

At the meeting it was also brought to the forefront an issue of the Ukraine’s participation in multinational military trainings and peacekeeping operations under the direction of NATO.
