On September 10, 2012, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Mr. Andrii Olefirov received copies of the Credentials from newly appointed Ambassador, Head of the European Union Delegation to Ukraine Mr. Jan Tombinski.

During the meeting a special attention was paid to the current issues oftherelations between Ukraine and the European Union, in particular prospects of concluding the Association Agreement, liberalisation of visa regime for the citizens of Ukraine as well as enhancing bilateral political dialogue.

Deputy Minister Olefirov congratulated Ambassador Tombinski onhis appointment andwished him every success infulfilling his demanding diplomatic duties in Ukraine.
