Deputy Minister Yehor Bozhok received Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Ukraine H.E. Salem Ahmed Al-Kaabi.

Sides exchanged views on the current state of Ukrainian-Emirati cooperation in various fields (trade, investments, security, including efforts in combating terrorism).

It was stressed that the key issues of the bilateral agenda for the nearest future are: visit to Ukraine of the Vice-President, Prime-Minister, Minister of Defence and the Governor of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and holding in Abu Dhabi the Fourth Session of the Intergovernmental Ukrainian- Emirati Joint Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation.

Deputy Minister congratulated the Emirati Ambassador with the “Person of the Year” Award in recognition of his diplomatic efforts in developing partnership, friendship and economic cooperation between Ukraine and the United Arab Emirates.
