On April 25, 2019 Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Sergiy Kyslytsya received Plenipotentiary and Extraordinary Ambassador of Japan to Ukraine Mr. Takashi Kurai.

Sergiy Kyslytsya expressed gratitude to the Ambassador of Japan for the comprehensive support of Ukraine on the international stage and for the Japanese longstanding assistance provided for the development of democratic institutions in Ukraine as well as for the support of internally displaced persons, and for social and economic restoration of the territories affected by the Russian aggression.

During the negotiations, the sides discussed bilateral cooperation issues, including the interaction within the international organizations.
