On April 29, 2019, the next round of Ukrainian-Israeli expanded political consultations between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Israel were held at the MFA of Israel.
The Ukrainian delegation was headed by Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Sergiy Kyslytsya.
During the consultations, the sides discussed a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation in the political, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres.
The sides confirmed the readiness to continue in the near future the dialogue at all levels, as well as in the format of inter-agency consultations.
The parties particularly emphasized the importance to complete the internal procedures for ratification of the Free Trade Agreement between Ukraine and Israel, signed on January 21, 2019.
There was also an exchange of views on the situation in the Middle East and on issues of the international agenda.
The parties discussed the state and prospects of cooperation between the two countries within the framework of international organizations.
