"Ukraine and Lithuania will always be reliable partners", - stated Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Yegor Bozhok and Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania Darius Skusevičius at the meeting on May 24, 2019 in the MFA of Ukraine.
Yegor Bozhok expressed appreciation to Lithuania for a solid political support of Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as considerable practical assistance to our state in the context of overcoming the consequences of the ongoing Russian aggression. It was especially noting the prompt reaction of Lithuania with regard to implementation of specific projects to restore the infrastructure of Donbass, particularly, in Avdyivka.
Darius Skusevičius confirmed intention of Vilnius to ensure further active support to our country. He also underlined, that the strengthening of the international community's sanctions pressure against Russia should be an anticipated response to the Kremlin's unlawful step towards the "passportization" of Ukrainian citizens.
The parties discussed further steps to deepen bilateral strategic partnership and noted the importance of continuing the existing high dynamics of Ukraine-EU and Ukraine-NATO cooperation.
