On November 11, 2019, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Vadym Prystaiko received Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Ukraine Du Wei. During the meeting, the parties focused on vital issues on the bilateral agenda.
The Minister stressed that Ukraine’s foreign policy on developing of friendly relations and mutually beneficial cooperation with the People's Republic of China remains unchanged.

The Sides emphasized on the necessity to renew the dynamics of political dialogue between the two countries as a prerequisite for intensification of practical cooperation, especially in trade, economic and investment spheres.

Minister Vadym Prystaiko expressed hope that active and efficient work of joint bilateral mechanisms will become a powerful tool for diversification and increase of bilateral goods turnover.

Close attention was also paid to the creation of favorable conditions to boost the mutual travels of the citizens of both countries as well as to further develop cultural and humanitarian ties.
