"The UK will remain Ukraine's important partner in counteracting Russian aggression and will provide assistance to Ukraine in implementing reforms," said United Kingdom Ambassador to Ukraine Melinda Simmons during a meeting with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Vadim Prystayko.
The Ambassador briefed the Minister about developments around the UK's exit from the EU minding the domestic political situation in the United Kingdom. During the meeting the Sides discussed the state of elaboration of a new bilateral agreement, which after Brexit will replace the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU in relations with the United Kingdom.
The Minister emphasized the importance of making progress on visa liberalization between the states.
