“Ukraine's future in the EU depends on the success of reforms in Ukraine. Comprehensive and systemic reforms are prerequisite for success”, said the Special Adviser to the President of the European Commission on relations with Ukraine Elmar Brok while meeting with Foreign Minister of Ukraine Vadym Prystayko.
Interlocutors paid particular attention to the implementation of the Association Agreement by the Government of Ukraine, including ambitious reforms. It was noted that endeavors of the President of Ukraine to introduce agricultural land market were widely discussed by Ukrainian public and generally supported in EU.
They also exchanged views on Nord Stream 2 pipeline and on energy security of Europe on the whole.
