On 5 December, on the sidelines of the OSCE Ministerial Meeting, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Vadym Prystayko met with EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell.
Josep Borrell reiterated a consistent approach of the EU to sanctions against Russia, aimed to compel a full implementation of the Minsk agreements and the restoration of Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
"Ukraine should be one of the first countries I intend to visit," said the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy.
For his part, Vadym Prystaiko stressed the necessity of the further active EU involvement in the process of stabilization of the situation in the Donbas and briefed Josep Borrell on the preparations for the Normandy Summit at the level of heads of state and government.
The parties discussed as well the current Ukraine-EU bilateral dialog and the priorities for key reforms in Ukraine.
