In the framework of participation in the 26-th OSCE Ministerial Council Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Vadym Prystaiko met with Secretary for Relations with States within the Holy See's Secretariat of State Paul Richard Gallagher.

Vadim Prystaiko expressed his gratitude for solidarity of Vatican and personally of Pope Francis with Ukraine as well as for the assistance in overcoming Russia's armed aggression.

The parties confirmed mutual interest in further intensification of bilateral dialogue and discussed the issues of cooperation in release of Ukrainian citizens unlawfully detained by Russia as well the possibility of further involvement of humanitarian assistance of the Holy See to Ukraine.
