Minister for Foreign Affairs Vadym Prystaiko met with Vice Prime Minister - Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade of Ireland Simon Coveney within the framework of the 26^th OSCE Council of Ministers’ meeting.

Vadym Prystaiko expressed gratitude to Irish counterpart for Dublin's consistent support for sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, including by joining the initiatives of our country within the framework of international organizations.

The parties agreed on steps to further expand trade and economic ties, minding the successful experience of work of Irish companies in Ukraine, including the international airline Ryanair. 

The Ukrainian Minister welcomed the intention of the Irish Side to open the Embassy of Ireland in Ukraine in 2020. The interlocutors agreed that the launch of the Irish diplomatic mission would open a new page in bilateral relations, providing additional opportunities for their sustained development in many directions.
