Minister Kozhara, for his part, offered condolences to the Kazakh side in connection with the tragic loss of military personnel due to air craft crash, which took place on December 25, 2012.

During the conversation the parties positively assessed current state of bilateral relations and exchanged views on further development of the political dialogue, first of all in context of the intensification of contacts on the governmental and parliamentary levels.

Kazakh side was also informed about scheduled visit of the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine as Acting Head of the OSCE to Kazakhstan within the tour to a number of Central Asian countries and expressed hope for Astana’s support in the process of implementation of Ukraine’s priorities chairmanship in the frame of OSCE activity in 2013.
