On May 13, 2011 Deputy Minister for Foreign Affaires of Ukraine Yevhen Mykytenko received the Ambassador of the Republic of Yemen to the Russian Federation, cross-accredited to Ukraine Muhammad Saleh Ahmad al-Helali.

The Sides discussed a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation in various fields.

M. al-Helali called on the Ukrainian Side to support Yemen’s aspirations to receive membership in the World Trade Organization.

Deputy Foreign Minister, in his turn, asked the Ambassador of Yemen to provide for adequate security to the citizens of Ukraine who live or stay in the Yemeni cities sparked with civil unrest.
