Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha: "I had a substantive meeting in Kyiv with my good friend, UK Deputy Prime Minister, Lord Chancellor and Secretary of State for Justice David Lammy.
I informed David about the battlefield situation, Russian strikes against our energy, and peace efforts.
We agreed to work together to raise all types of pressure on Russia, which remains the only obstacle to peace.
The cost of continuing the war for the aggressor must continue to increase until it becomes unbearable and forces Moscow to end its aggression.
We also exchanged views on a number of international developments, including protests in Iran.
Thank you for your visit and Britain’s steadfast solidarity. Together we are strengthening our 100-Year Partnership and advancing justice, security and recovery for Ukraine."
