Deputy Foreign Minister paid special attention to the Peace Formula Plan, initiated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, inviting the Dominican Side to join the implementation of this important initiative for Ukraine.
The sides exchanged views on strengthening cooperation between Ukraine and the Organization of Ibero-American States, given that in March of this year, the Dominican Republic will host the 28th Ibero-American Summit.

The parties discussed in detail the topical issues of the agenda of bilateral relations. In order to intensify the political dialogue, the parties agreed to start political consultations between the foreign policy departments of the two countries in the first half of this year.
Andriy Melnyk called on the Dominican Side to consider the possibility of accepting Ukrainian children who suffered from Russian aggression for treatment and rehabilitation.
The interlocutors also expressed mutual interest in restoring trade and economic cooperation between Ukraine and the Dominican Republic, which suffered a blow due to the war launched by Russia against our country.
