Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha: "Meaningful bilateral talks with Bulgarian Foreign Minister Velislava Petrova in the course of her visit to Kyiv for the Ukraine-Southeast Europe summit.

We discussed ways to strengthen Ukraine–Bulgaria cooperation, with a particular focus on regional energy projects and infrastructure development.

Our discussions also covered Ukraine’s EU accession, further opening of clusters, and the importance of strengthening sanctions pressure on Russia.

I thanked Velislava for joining today’s summit and emphasised our interest in further developing the Ukraine-Southeast Europe format, including on the ministerial level. 

Ukraine and Bulgaria will continue working side by side to secure a lasting peace for Ukraine and strengthen security across Europe.

Agreed to continue working closely to deepen our partnership for the benefit of both countries".
