Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha: "I had a good call with my German colleague, Federal Minister Johann Wadephul.

We discussed the battlefield situation, peace efforts, and our shared responsibility to ensure the security of Europe. Our security is indivisible and Ukraine’s strength is essential for a lasting peace and stability on the continent.

I thanked Germany for its steadfast support and leadership, including in defense cooperation. We discussed further steps to strengthen Ukraine’s capabilities, particularly in air defense.

We also focused on preparations for the Ukraine Recovery Conference in Gdańsk, Ukraine’s recovery agenda, and the importance of rallying both public and private investment.

A special focus was paid to Ukraine’s EU accession process. We discussed the need to open all negotiating clusters and maintain the momentum of Ukraine’s European integration.
