Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha: "I spoke with Kęstutis Budrys to coordinate positions ahead of the upcoming EU Foreign Affairs Council.
We focused on strengthening sanctions against Russia and maintaining strong European unity in support of Ukraine.
We also discussed energy cooperation in light of current challenges and the importance of closer coordination between our countries to strengthen regional resilience.
I briefed my colleague on Hungary’s lawless seizure of Ukrainian citizens and state bank funds. Such actions deserve Europe-wide condemnation.
We also exchanged views on Ukraine’s contribution to broader international security, including through our experience in countering emerging threats that also affect regions such as the Middle East."
