On 13 May First Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha had an online meeting with Assistant Minister for Foreign Affairs of Australia The Hon Tim Watts MP.

Andrii Sybiha expressed his gratitude to the people and government of Australia for the consistent and comprehensive support for Ukraine, in particular the latest military aid package and Canberra's accession to the Drone Coalition.

The Australian side was updated on the Ukrainian most pressing needs in repelling Russian military aggression.

During the meeting, special attention was paid to preparations for the inaugural Global Peace Summit, to be held in Switzerland in June this year. The parties agreed on further active interaction in the context of preparations for the Summit.
