Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha: “This morning, I had my first phone call as Ukraine’s Foreign Minister with my Polish counterpart Radosław Sikorski to reaffirm the Ukrainian-Polish strategic partnership and good-neighbourly relations.

I thanked Poland for its support for Ukraine, updated Minister Sikorski on the frontline situation, and noted the importance of further strengthening Ukraine’s defense capabilities.

Ukraine and Poland have a common enemy and a common goal of keeping our bilateral ties strong. In a sign of respect, we held the conversation in Polish. I look forward to welcoming my Polish colleague to Kyiv soon”.
