On June 14, 2024 First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha had a telephone conversation with Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Sri Lanka U.L. Mohammed Jauhar.

The First Deputy Minister expressed gratitude to the Government of Sri Lanka for supporting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.

The parties stressed the importance of intensifying political dialogue.

The preparations for the Global Peace Summit in Switzerland were also discussed.
