On 14 June, First Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha held a meeting with Director of the Polish Institute in Kyiv Jaroslaw Godun.
The Parties discussed a number of cultural projects aimed at further strengthening friendly relations between our countries and peoples, and countering Russian disinformation.
The First Deputy Minister expressed his gratitude to the Republic of Poland for its comprehensive assistance to Ukraine amidst the full-scale Russian aggression, as well as for the support of our country's membership in the European Union and NATO. He emphased that our countries have always historically sought to be part of a common European family. In this regard, Andrii Sybiha and Jaroslaw Godun agreed to focus on the implementation of joint projects with the Polish Institute in the framework of Poland’s EU Presidency in 2025.
The interlocutors paid special attention to the Global Peace Summit in Switzerland, which should be an important step towards the restoration of international order and a comprehensive, just and lasting peace for Ukraine and our region as a whole.
The parties agreed to maintain regular contacts between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and the Polish Institute in Kyiv.
