Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha: "On the sidelines of the 4-th international conference on food security “Food from Ukraine”, I had a meaningful meeting with Syria’s Minister of Agriculture and Agrarian Reform, Amjad Badr, and Minister of Emergency and Disaster Management, Raed al-Saleh. It is the first visit of the official Syrian ministerial delegation since the restoration of our diplomatic relations during the meeting between the Presidents of Ukraine and Syria in New York in September.  We focused on strengthening our bilateral dialogue and developing our mutually beneficial cooperation in different spheres.  I reaffirmed Ukraine’s readiness to remain a reliable partner in supporting Syria’s food security and developing its agricultural sector. Grateful to Syrian colleagues for this important visit of solidarity and their readiness to advance our relations through practical projects and joint collaboration."
