I thanked His Eminence for the Holy See’s continued attention to Ukraine and prayers for peace. We deeply value its engagement and support for our people during this difficult time.

We discussed further efforts to bring Ukrainian children home. I expressed gratitude for the Holy See’s important contribution to these efforts and the results already achieved, and we coordinated further steps.

We also exchanged views on ongoing diplomatic efforts to end the war. Ukraine wants this war to end and remains committed to achieving a comprehensive and lasting peace".
