Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha held a meeting with the newly appointed Ambassador of Ukraine to the Italian Republic, Ihor Brusylo, ahead of his departure for Rome.
The parties discussed key priorities and tasks, including strengthening the political dialogue between Ukraine and Italy, developing economic cooperation, attracting investments, and further consolidating support for Ukraine in the face of ongoing Russian aggression.
Particular attention was paid to military assistance to Ukraine, sanctions policy, promoting the European integration course, and engagement with Italian society.
The Foreign Minister wished the newly appointed Ambassador success and expressed confidence that Ihor Brusylo’s experience and professionalism, gained during his tenure at the Office of the President, will contribute to strengthening the Ukrainian-Italian partnership and the effective promotion of Ukraine's interests.
