Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha: "As part of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy visit, I held a meaningful bilateral meeting with my Azerbaijani colleague Jeyhun Bayramov.

We noted the importance of today’s fruitful talks between our leaders and coordinated next steps to put the outcomes of their agreements into action.

I informed Minister Bayramov about the dynamic on the battlefield following the harshest winter in our history: Ukraine is holding the line and making the aggressor pay an ever heavier price. I also updated my colleague on the most recent positive developments on our EU track and Ukraine's path to joining the European Union.

We discussed the priority areas of cooperation, which included energy, humanitarian assistance, the economy, political dialogue, and Ukrainian children's recovery.

I am grateful to Azerbaijan for its support of Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity, humanitarian aid, and willingness to strengthen our ties.

Today, we also expanded our legal treaty base by signing six new agreements. One of them, signed by foreign ministers, was the Agreement between Ukraine and the Republic of Azerbaijan on Legal Assistance in Civil and Commercial Matters. It will streamline judicial cooperation, facilitate business ties, and strengthen our strategic partnership".
