Their participation at the Ukraine Recovery Conference and the Coalition of the Willing meeting sent an important message of transatlantic unity and support for Ukraine’s resilience, recovery, and defense.  

We greatly appreciate the US Senate's efforts to bring about a just and lasting peace. Russia and those who support its war effort must face real pressure. 

In this regard, I also emphasized the importance of lowering the oil price cap in order to deprive Russia of oil revenues, which it turns into war crimes. 

We are at a critical juncture where strong leadership and decisions can make a difference in advancing peace through strength."
