Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha: "Started this important day at the 62nd Munich Security Conference together with my German colleague and friend Johann Wadephul. 

We spoke about peace efforts, steps to enhance Ukraine’s defense and resilience, and increased pressure on Moscow. 

I thank Germany for its outstanding leadership in supporting Ukraine and strengthening the security of Europe. 

This year, German defense support for Ukraine is at record €11,5 billion, while its winter energy assistance packages totalled €75 million. We are grateful for Germany’s steadfast solidarity. 

We discussed the calendar of bilateral contacts and ways to expand Ukrainian-German partnership and cooperation. 

We also spoke about ways to advance Ukraine’s EU accession as an element of security guarantees for our country and all of Europe."
