Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha: "I held meaningful talks with Franco Dal Mas Secretary General Franco Dal Mas, thanked him for his leadership, and reiterated Ukraine’s focus on an ambitious 2027 Presidency. 

I informed about the situation in Ukraine, Russia’s escalation of terror, and peace efforts. I thanked the Secretary General for his principled engagement and the CEI’s humanitarian assistance. 

Ukraine is ready to bring a new momentum to the Central European Initiative. We discussed the priorities of Ukraine’s upcoming presidency, including its parliamentary, regional, ministerial, and youth dimensions.  

We are focused on reviving the CEI Summit format after years of pause and holding such a meeting of leaders in Ukraine next year.  

I also invited the Secretary General to visit Ukraine at a convenient time".
