On May 29, First Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha held a meeting with UN Resident Coordinator and Humanitarian Coordinator for Ukraine Denise Brown.
Special attention was paid to the issue of enhancing assistance to Ukrainian citizens suffering from Russian aggression.
Andrii Sybiha thanked Denise Brown for her personal courage and leadership in the UN effort to help Kharkiv. In her turn, Denise Brown informed in detail about her recent trip to Kharkiv and plans to make working visits to Mykolaiv and Kherson regions.
It was also emphasized on the support of the UN system for Ukrainians planning to return to Ukraine. The First Deputy Minister urged the UN Resident Coordinator in Ukraine to intensify the relevant work in this area. The parties also agreed on UN support for digitalization projects for a number of consular services.
