On May 29, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha met with the Ambassadors of the Group of Seven (G7) countries and of the European Union to Ukraine. During the meeting a number of important issues related to the strengthening of our country's defense capabilities in the face of full-scale armed aggression by the Russian Federation were discussed, as well as the joint actions aimed at increasing international pressure and bringing the aggressor state to justice for the committed crimes.
It was agreed to further strengthen constructive cooperation in both bilateral format and within the framework of the international organizations.
Special attention was paid to the preparation for the Global Peace Summit of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, which will be held on June 15-16, 2024 in Switzerland.
The First Deputy Minister expressed his gratitude to the international partners for confirming unwavering comprehensive support of Ukraine in repelling the Russian invaders.
