Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha: "At the beginning of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s visit to Canada for the G7 summit, I was pleased to meet with Anita Anand. 

I thanked my Canadian counterpart for the invitation to the summit and underscored the importance of strengthening sanctions against Russia. Lowering oil price cap is critical to deprive Moscow of resources to fund the war. 

I thanked Canada for its important role and leadership in the Coalition for the return of Ukrainian children. We discussed its further efforts. 

We also focused on bilateral cooperation, Canada’s continued assistance, and peace efforts.
