Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha: "With my Dutch colleague and friend Tom Berendsen we focused on Ukraine’s defense and accountability for Russian crimes.   

I thanked the Netherlands for its leadership in supporting the establishment of the Special Tribunal for the Crime of Aggression against Ukraine and its readiness to host the initial phase of the Tribunal in The Hague.   

We discussed Ukraine’s EU accession path. I reiterated that we expect all negotiation clusters to be opened as soon as possible. We count on the Netherlands’ support. 

We agreed that pressure on Moscow remains critical to advance diplomacy. Sanctions work and they need to be increased to bring peace closer.
