I informed my colleague about the situation in the Black Sea, where Russian terror disrupted maritime routes and undermined freedom of navigation. This carries risks for food security far beyond our region.

We count on the Philippines’ principled voice and the wider international community’s strong stance one the need to restore freedom of navigation in the Black Sea.

We also discussed the development of our bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest.

I thanked the Philippines for supporting our sovereignty and territorial integrity — and invited my colleague to visit Ukraine".
