On 15 May First Deputy Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha held a meeting with Günter Sautter, German Federal Government Commissioner for Disarmament and Arms Control, Director General for International order, the United Nations, and Arms Control of the Federal Foreign Office.
Andrii Sybiha expressed his gratitude to the German government for the comprehensive support of Ukraine in its the fight against Russian aggression and noted the importance of the military and economic aid received from Germany in this regard.
For his part, Günter Sautter assured of Germany’s unwavering support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine. He also emphasized the readiness of the German government to continue to help Ukraine in the military, economic and humanitarian spheres.
During the meeting, the parties paid special attention to the discussion of the difficult situation on the battlefield, cooperation within the framework of the activities of international organizations, preparation process for the Global Peace Summit in Switzerland, and strengthening of bilateral cooperation between Ukraine and Germany.
