Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha: “I had a good catch-up with my Belgian colleague Maxime Prévot on the margins of the Council of Europe Ministerial meeting. 

First of all, I thanked Maxime for his clear statement of solidarity following Russia’s latest massive attack against Ukraine and for standing firmly with the Ukrainian people. 

I briefed my colleague on the battlefield situation, ongoing peace efforts, and Ukraine’s urgent military needs. 

We focused on the practical implementation of agreements reached at the highest political level between our countries, including further strengthening bilateral cooperation in key areas. 

I thanked Belgium for its strong military, political, and humanitarian support for Ukraine. We synchronized our next steps and agreed to remain in close contact".
