We compared notes following yesterday’s EU Foreign Affairs Council. I thanked Kaja for her personal engagement and the EU’s steadfast support for Ukraine. 

I informed the HR/VP about the key outcomes of the recent talks in Berlin. We coordinated our next steps toward a lasting peace, including through increased pressure on Russia to stop its war. 

We agreed on the urgency and critical importance of the decision to enable the full use of Russia’s frozen assets. Aggressor must pay. This decision will make Europe and Ukraine stronger, and it will also bring peace closer."
