Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha: "It was good to meet in The Hague with my Moldovan colleague and friend Mihai Popșoi ahead of today’s important events on accountability. 

We discussed regional security situation and Russia’s continued escalation of air terror. We shared views on energy and defense cooperation, as well as political cooperation within the regional formats, first of all the Odesa Triangle. 

EU accession was a special topic of our conversation. Ukraine and Moldova made a huge progress according to the recent Enlargement Report. We are ready and should open first negotiation clusters as soon as possible. Together. 

I also briefed my Moldovan colleague on the battlefield situation and shared the outcomes of the most recent contacts in Berlin between Ukrainian, American and European delegations.
