Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha: "Russia’s terror does not stop for a single day. This morning, a Russian FPV drone struck a passenger bus in the Nikopol district, killing at least five people and injuring seven. Today, Russia also attacked passenger train Kyiv–Mykolaiv. Passengers and crews were evacuated in time.
These attacks follow the same deliberate logic. Russian forces strike passenger trains, locomotives, stations, and railway routes knowing exactly how essential they are for civilians, evacuations, and Ukraine’s economy. This is not collateral damage. It is a systematic hunt for people and an attempt to paralyse civilian life.
The international response cannot remain periodic while Russian terror is daily. Every Russian attack must trigger new pressure. Every attack must bring new sanctions against Russia’s revenues, technology, production, and supply chains. The price of aggression must rise every single day that Russia continues it.
Russia must lose the means to continue this terror. Ukraine needs more air defence and interceptors now, while Russia’s war machine, its production and its financing must face systematic disruption. If Moscow chooses escalation every day, the pressure on Moscow must escalate every day as well".
