Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha: "Today in The Hague, I was delighted to visit once again one of the Clingendael Institute, a prominent think tank and international affairs academy.
I met with the Institute’s leadership and members of the International Expert Group for Ukraine, which was formed in 2023 and includes experts from all over the world.
The group’s key task is to brainstorm an analytical infrastructure to end Russian aggression against Ukraine with a just and lasting peace, robust security guarantees for Ukraine, and a new, strong security architecture of Europe.
This is exactly the topic we discussed. I shared with the distinguished audience the latest outcomes of the intensive Berlin talks between Ukrainian, American, and European delegations.
My key message: we are in a decisive moment, when a lasting peace could be restored for Ukraine and the rest of Europe. For this, we need not just a full diplomatic and political mobilisation, but also an expert one.
I thanked the Clingendael Institute and the Dutch government for their expert support for Ukraine on our path to the EU, which includes training for Ukrainian public servants".
